That "little stuff" like the choice of gloves, ref and judges would affect the fight and matters to boxing fans more than the money. Why should pac agree to floyd's choice of gloves and judge?

I like Pac, and I think Floyd is a great fighter although I can't stand him as a person, but yeah, **** both of them for this. I don't buy anything from Pac's side about wanting to make the fight happen, they've both been talking **** for years. This fight won't happen.

Pacquiao's demands were not nearly as ridiculous as Mayweather's demands are for Pacquiao

How so? It was last noted a few weeks back that Mayweather had offered Pacquiao a 37.5% split.
Marquez ended up fighting for less than a 25% split.

How is Mayweather being unreasonable if the offer to Pacquiao is at 37.5%?

The man wants nothing to do with top fighters. He fights fighters where he has a clear tactical and/or physical edge. There is no one left for him to fight except Pacquiao and maybe Khan

If he stayed retired he would have preserved his status as an all time great. Now he's slipping down the rankings fast with every fight

Pacquiao is a PPV star himself
    Marquez is what?

And Marquez getting $10M to pac's $22M is not 25%

Remember that floyd paid jmm a mere $2M when he fought him compared to floyd's $25M.

Why people think promoters pick refs and judges is beyond me.. If you believe that, then Floyd is boxing.. He reached God level in boxing and he'll beat everyone anyway.. Oh yeah, Oscar did to Floyd what Floyd is doing to Pac.. People still called Oscar a cherry pick for Floyd.. Weird huh? .

You're talking money. I'm talking tactical advantages in the ring. Ref, ring size, gloves, etc., are an entirely different hurdle.

If you get less PPV buys, it's pretty obvious you should take less money. Although I think it should be maybe 40 for Pac. Regardless of their differences in last PPVs, which I know nothing about, just know Floyd's gotten more, Manny will bring in a big, big number, so he deserves at least 40.

Why even bring Marquez up? Like he's this big PPV star.
