    Appreciation Thread
Robert Joseph Guerrero is a 32 year old 5'8 former Featherweight, Super Featherweight, Lightweight and currently Welterweight with a 33-3-1-2NC 18 KO's record. Born and fighting out of Gilroy, California. I love watching Guerrero because no matter how skilled a boxer he is, no matter how much natural talent he possesses, no matter how good of an outside game he has, he never seems to be able to resist the urge to give in to his animal instincts and go nuts to the walls and turn the match into a dogfight war of attrition with his opponent. We almost share the same birthday which may account for his compulsions he's an Aries which is ruled by Mars the God of War, while all that may be BS, but he wants to prove how badass he is, he's not simply content winning the match via one sided boring decision which he is very capable of doing and has many times before, he has a primal need to play to the basic instinct of the fans by giving them what they really want a violent War, which I identify with. His compulsions have paid off because he quickly has gone from being a contender who shuts out opponents to a must see fighter delivering 2 fight of the year contenders against Kamegai and Berto.

So thanks to his masculine need to prove himself, to himself and his crazy father Ruben, he's made a name for himself as one of the more exciting and still in my estimation underrated fighters in boxing and at Welterweight. Okay he was beaten by Floyd on points, what a shock, he lost to a roided up Orlando Salido which was turned to a NC after Siri tested positive, and had a close loss to Gamiliel Diaz which he avenged by stopping Diaz in the rematch. His record is not perfect but most Mexican Warriors(Guerreros) don't have flawless records because they want to fight the best and prove to everyone how good they really are. On top of all that he's a really good guy who took care for his wife Casey who was battling Leukemia and became a stay at home father putting his career on hold for over a year, thankfully she's fully recovered. So Check Out The Ghost in Action in some of his more obscure fights, Robert deserves far more attention and respect than he gets, and maybe this will make some of you appreciate him more.:ggg:ggg:ggg:ggg

I'll put it like this, I normally don't agree with your posts or threads but I think you are right on with this one. The Ghost is very under rated. He can do it anyway you wanna do it and he does it well. An excellent fighter and true warrior.

Come on don't be so trendy, piling on Guerrero seems a little too popular nowdays he's a solid fighter who'd be a tough match for any WW not named Mayweather or Pacquiao.

You should have posted the Guerrero -Thurman fight...oh wait...

Guerrero was a good fighter and had some decent attributes... but at WW he is very limited and no better than a top 15.

I like Ghost. (Maybe not as much as the guy who started this thread) He's a solid fighter though. He should stay away from Khan, Thurman, Maidana, and Brook. Would love to see him fight Danny Garcia though.

Nah, he got his ass beat by Salido. Guy blatantly ducked Keith "One Thime" Thurman.

Nope, he'll maul the hell out of Thruman, Porter.

He's a live dog vs Pac too.
