I agree, and if the fight finally gets signed, we can do boxing a service and teach these greedy promoters a lesson by not buying the PPV.

The best thing that can happen to boxing is for Mayweather vs Pacquiao to lay an egg in ppv sales.

Good to see some level minded people. You can go back and forth all day nitpicking times both camps made up excuses. **** both these guys glad I haven't bought their sorry ppvs.

These idiots defending either or to the end is like kids arguing which power ranger was the best (red ranger was of course way better them tommy)

    Lara:
Golovkin won't fight him either. He has four losses and he is not a pay-per-view attraction.

    Golovkin:
Has not fought at JMWT since he was in his teens. He is now over 30. He wants to move down and fight a blown up JWWT. Maybe he should take a fight with Lara who has been calling him out for two years?

    Andrade:
    Who?

    Manny:
Seems like the fight is on, if Manny Daddy Bob gives him permission.

    Khan:
Oh, so the guy has fought three mediocore JWWTs in the last year (Diaz, Collazo, Alexander) and this proves he's ready for a fight with Mayweather?

    Bradley:
Top Rank and Daddy Bob again.

    Thurman:
Did you see the Bundu fight? I don't think he's ready, and he doesn't bring any fans like a Mexican/Puerto Rican would.

Are you saying you need video evidence of this?

Because a basic Google search (even of this very site) will answer your question.

as much as i want both those fights you have to realize showtime can be as bitter as they want about how much floyds contract is costing them, they have no say in who he fights

moonves tried to negotiate a fight with pac only to blast arum on twitter saying how impossible he is to work with

khan fight might happen i feel floyd just dismissed him as an opponent to highlight he is serious about getting the pac fight made but failing that its clearly the next best option

a google search comes up with nothing except articles from the likes of Chris Williams. My issue with lots of this is stuff is taken out of context. Just like My health comes first, which had IMO nothing to do with facing Pac

It also says Schaffer says... lol

Fair enough, you can judge for yourself

Here's an article with the original remarks in January (LINK)

and here is Pacquiao, just a week or two ago in a Sky Sports interview, referencing his January call for a charity fight (LINK)

    PS
We also know that Floyd is all about the money and would never agree to such a thing... Its more smack talk ( pacs smack talk WEAK )

I remember Oscar (when he was the face of Boxing) set ALL the terms and made the ALL the demands for his fight with Floyd...and Floyd said "NO PROBLEM". So when Floyd is the face of the sport along with being the HIGHEST PAID ATHLETE IN ALL OF SPORTS....when he makes any kind of demand, the entire general public says "Oh Floyd is being ridiculous".

    Hmmmm, I wonder why?

    SMH!!!

Moonves said absolutely nothing regarding Arum or boxing. You'll never hear the CEO of CBS speak publicly on boxing or it's negotiations.

I'd be surprised if Showtime has no veto power over who Floyd fights. After all, they are the ones broadcasting the fight at the end of the day, but who knows what Floyd's' contract entails.

I agree that Floyd will be pressured by CBS. I just can't see them green lighting Floyd fighting an opponent they disapprove of, apparently since they've lost millions. They are going to want to recoup that.

Floyd says he's his own boss, but Moonves might have something to say about that.
