I've seen the fight plenty of times. It was a masterclass by Ward, as he reduced a force like Kessler to a visual mediocrity. :smoke
Lol. Ward was green as **** at the time. He was an unknown in the Super Six tournament, his only notable achievement was winning a gold medal at the Olympics. Kessler was the champion and favorite to win the tournament and was supposed to steamroll through Ward.. Ward thoroughly outclassed him, took his belt, sent him back to Europe, and made him cry like a baby..
Yeah, those headbutts were an absolute masterclass (hope you picked up on the sarcasm I was laying down there)
WTF is Ward thinking? He'll be lucky to make 168 if this drags on and on. One of the best fighters in the sport throwing it all away, insane.
If thats true he is going to be in trouble quick, especially if that is in $$. Bite the bullet ffs and just take a couple of fights atsch
A couple of sites say he has a net worth of $2m. Carl Froch has net worth of $25-30m? Can't be right, but even if it is remotely accurate it's quite shocking considering the gulf of class between Ward and the rest of the division. Froch can sell out a stadium though and I guess boxing is an entertainment sport and Ward will nullify any entertainment in a fight.
Ward donates most of his income to charity, what with him being a devout Christian and all. He said he bought a high rise apartment complex in his hometown for the homeless to live in on his Twitter account. And I know he regularly donates hefty sums of cash to his local church and that he recently forked out a lot of money treating his pastor and his trainer/godfather Virgil Hunter to a new designer wardrobe each and a couple of flashy sports cars.
Hopefully this is a joke. If it isn't a joke you've got to wonder what kind of a "Pastor" wants a cupboard full of flash clothing and a sports car.

He's dressed quite conservatively by his standards here though. Usually he's a lot less restrained with his choice of attire. [YT]S_0Gf39BgV4[/YT]
