I had the 1st fight even, the 2nd fight a clear Floyd win.
1st fight warranted a rematch, 2nd fight did not.

There's no proof that Floyd is trying to fight Cotto.. If he was he'd have to talk to Arum.. Don't you think Arum would tell the world that Floyd is sucking Manny to fight Cotto and/or not even bother to talk to Floyd about it at all?

When is the last time Floyd fought a Bob Arum promoted guy? Isn't it more rational to think Arum and Floyd don't like each other from what happened in the past rather than Floyd Floyd being scared of everyone promoted by Arum?

What the **** have Lara, Andrade, or Thurman done to earn a fight with Floyd?

Lara's coming off a win over mediocre Ishe Smith, and looked less than impressive against Canelo.

Andrade's best win is Vanes.

Thurman's coming off a win over Euro-level Bundu.

What's more, Lara, Andrade, and Thurman are not draws. Those three are only known by hardcore boxing fans. Does anyone REALLY wanna see a guaranteed snooze-fest in Lara-Floyd?

The Bundu fight showed me that Thurman still has a LONG way to go before he can even think about fighting Floyd.

Bradley is coming off a draw against Chaves.

Really, the only 2 fights for Floyd that people have any interest in are Manny and Khan.

Really Cotto-Canelo has absolutely nothing to do with Floyd All that worries Floyd he'll get upstaged. Floyd needs to keep his nose out of the Cotto-Canelo fight Bob Arum should just ignore the whiney cry baby Floyd:| & go ahead with the fight on May 2 Screw the prima donna he can:| all he wants but people know that its all Floyd's own fault this fight hasn't happened when it should.
Manny Paquaio doesn't need Floyd he has many choices of opponents against which he will still make good $$$$. Like before the only thing that will suffer by Manny & Floyd never fighting is Floyd's reputation & legacy. The reason he is not rated as an ATG of the highest echelon is down to one person & one person only

How would you guys feel if the Canelo fight with Cotto happens on May 2nd and the floyd fight with pacquiao hasn't happened because the fight couldn't be made on May 2nd, but yet Mayweather fights no one on May 2nd and fights at a later date against somebody else? how would that make you feel? I got a feeling that might happen. Nothing surprises me anymore.

One thing wrong with your theory Floyd knows in his heart that Manny has his number. Floyd fears he cannot beat Manny.
What should happen is that Floyd be ORDERED to fight Manny on a level playing field. No special stipulations on either side, no home boy minder( doubling as referee) like Kenny Bayless did
Hold the fight anywhere but Vegas, there is no way in hell Manny would get a fair crack of the whip in Vegas. Fight under the state commissions rules wherever the fight is held
Let the two guys meet each other to fight to really see who the better man is May the best man win
I know this is just a pipedream Floyd has never given any opponent an even break yet. He sure as hell wont do it against the guy he KNOWS can beat him & take his 0 It would be end of the line wouldn't it

 

If that were a ten dollar PPV I would buy it at this point. It's the only fight besides Pac-May and Canelo-Cotto I want to see Arum make.

 

Yep, Arum pretty much treats all his fighters except for existing cash cows like cheap *****s.

He puts sneaky stipulations in his fight contracts with fighters that make it hard for them to seperate from him.
Arum did that to Mayweather. Arum publicly and to the media badmouthed and treated Mayweather like a 2nd class citizen while he was fighting under his promotion.
No doubt Mayweather still harbors ill feelings.

JC Chavez jr. has signed elsewhere and Arum is still insisting he's the promoter. :nut
