you admitted you are flustered, that's all that matters. you denied it earlier but now you have come clean, good.
If Calzaghe has achieved exactly Toney, everybody who is claiming Toney would win here would now be claiming Joe is a total bum with MUCH greater emphatises tyhan they do anyway. Some of you posters need a black American shoved down your throats by HBO and Showtime and thats all it takes for you to be convinced they are a great fighter who can beat THE true great of the division.
Your answers dont mean anything to me, but I always try and respect the opinion of others. I said Eubank wasnt faded like many try to make out and noted him to be like how Kessler was at a similar age. I think Froch seems faded now, and felt he was past his best some years back, but that doesnt stop him performing well and im sure if someone beats 37/38 year old Froch now, it would be called a good win, yet Froch has only beaten an unproven at world level, British champ in his last 2 fights
So yet another duck. Im not interested in posters that are beaten, and constantly duck. If you had of done it once or twice, I would have moved on, but you have been picked up for ducking several times now. You will next me looking at others to answer the questions posed to you, which will really show a lack of being able to debate. Please stop wasting my time, until you can answer questions. Thanks
VG, can you please clarify something? Are you asking who would have won, if both fighters were fully fit and fighting to their full capabilities? Or are you looking at specific periods? Because it could be an endless debate. For example, Toney for the most part, was out of shape and in poor form at LHW. Likewise, at SMW, Joe wasn't always in top form and sometimes carried injuries into the ring. I think the fairest thing to do, would be to predict who would have won while they were at their best. :good
Please boxng rec queen you beat no one around here ..the fact that you have to come here with these long dran out replies just proves your trying to exxaggerate the man's legacy !
You ducked every question. You denying that now It looks like I have cleaned this thread up Imperial1, has become Imbecile1 and has ducked all questions dellboi94, has been made to look a right plonker HerolGee, has sunk into irrelevance Job done
bailey, No, that isn't sensible. It's not an objective breakdown. Well what we all need to establish, is what exactly VG is asking? I've just asked him btw. I think the fairest thing to do, is assume both guys were at their best. I'll elaborate after VG has answered my question. Toney's win over Barkley. You don't have to inform me about Barkley's career, and the fact that Joe was superior to him etc. But the Barkley version of Toney, was in great shape and he was motivated. He looked really sharp. I would put that version of Toney, up against any SMW version of Joe. No it shouldn't. It makes no difference. No, I'm not willing to do that. Because it's completely irrelevant to the thread title. One more than the other.
yup the testimony of failey. I'd be tempted to conclude all that, if I couldn't reply to multiple people pointing out repeated failures, so I can see where you are coming from.
bailey, Your last paragraph is good. Why didn't you use those examples in your first post on this thread, instead of doing comparisons between their resumes? Why do you beg to differ regarding Joe's 33 wins at the weight, compared to Toney's 5 wins at the weight? You've made a case on another thread that Joe would have beaten Kovalev at LHW, despite the fact that he didn't have many fights there.
But why were you asking what Toney's best wins at the weight were? Eubank certainly wasn't shot when he fought Joe, but even though he was only 31, you have to admit that he wasn't prime, and he was slightly faded and past his best.
Why are you thinking its acceptable for you to bring up other threads and posts, but not me? The 33 wins to 5 as you put it, even though I think Toney has had around 14 SMW fights including his draw with S Williams. How fighters are comfy and adapted to the weight makes a big difference. I think it was N Benn who said something like it took a couple of years before he properly grew into SMW and became strong at the weight. I Think!
