pureist to be inducted in the hall of fame and declared best Australian boxing trainer of all time. He won't watch any good PPV's(too busy training future champions)but will watch Anthony Mundine fights at least 3 times each on you-tube. :yep
Geale, Green and Soliman should thank the Lord Jesus Christ every day of the week that there is a saviour called "Anthony Mundine". Australian fighters like Paul Briggs, Jeff Harding and Troy Waters never made the money these frauds did but were much better or as at least equal fighters in the last 20yrs.
Soliman will defeat Geale if his knee holds out! but that fight will never happen imo. Geale doesnt want the fight.
My two cents worth. Zac Dunn to continue on WBO route and aim for a fading Abraham, Wild Will to be entertaining but lacking at the true top level, Very entertaining but like Katsidis gets hit way too much. Brown seems like a good guy but I think will be found out at the next level, beats all Aussie hw at moment but not close to world class. Horn will continue improving after hand surgery and will go a long way , just not in 2015. Hooper to continue fighting "easy beats" after recent upset, has the skills not the mentality to go places though. Wouldn't be surprised if he did a Will Kickett and gave it away. Mackenzie to remain a good domestic level and Zappa to have a big year with a new trainer
Mundine is the only Aussie with a shot at winning a world title if he fights K9 Bundrage, no other Aussie will win a world title in 2015 that is my prediction, Lucas Browne may win a international fight, Horn will likely remain unbeaten. Some other Aussies might get a chance to step up but will get KO'd.
Thought that they would be there forever as Tommy has put immense amount into Lenny outside of the training.Interesting to see how it pans out.
Yes they were very close, and I thought Lennys last performance was one of his best. I cant tell you the ins and outs of why they split but they have definantly parted ways. I wish them both all the best as Tommy is a great guy and Lenny shows some promise, not sure what a new trainer can change as Lenny has had the same style for a while and may find it hard if he is asked to change too much. Anyway good luck to them both
I'm not sure about Lenny at the top level but boy he was impressive in his last fight..... Hope it wasn't a one off
Zappa was fantastic in his last outing against Castillo, seems a shame as he looked like he had really turned a corner.
