another wouldda couldda shouldda post designed to boost the K bros and cover their deficiencies.

Will we see some actual evidence? or it always wouldda couldda shouldda when it comes to trying to boost K bros.

Fair enough but the basic and flawed version of Sanders is the only one that exists so that should be the only version talked about here.

Norton looked like a great fighter to me. Can't see how he loses to Sanders. Shavers would take out Sanders imo.

Absolutely agree. No magical renditions of the fighters.

He doesn't lose on merit but on style. That is the only argument to support him losing to Sanders. I think Sanders would have a decent chance of stinging him… tall southpaw, fast delivery, fast combos with punches that travel both straight and loop… given Norton's guard and chin issues, he would have a chance. I wouldn't bet the mortgage on it, tho.

This was well before Manny had Wlad.

I don't see it being a bad style match up for Norton. He didn't bring that intense pressure and hasn't the skills to out box him.
Nortons movement and hand speed would be far to much for Sanders to handle. Remember Sanders had no defence whatsoever.

I think Norton found that out the hard way with Gerry Coo ney.

Sanders would certainly have a very good chance of taking Norton out early. But Ken was a very good fighter, overall moreso than Sanders.

I look at the Sanders vs Rahman fight, and figure is Rahman can beat prime Sanders, Norton most certainly can.

We have no way of knowing how Norton handles southpaws, for better or worse.

The same could be said for most Heavyweights prior to the 90s, and some great ones since then (such as Lennox and Tyson).

My first instinct is to say Sanders early or Norton late, but I wouldn't bet on the outcome.

btw, which sanders is this? prime, or the retired old one who easily destroyed wlad in seconds and then put the fear of god in him for a rematch?

I've got Corrie by 10th round TKO. I just don't see how Norton's chin holds up. Who knows how he reacts to a southpaw as well.

    Bert Cooper?? Seriously?

That guy was known for losing fights. Not winning them.

But he was quick there and moved well.

    Norton without problem.
Sanders was a bum. His wladimir klitschko ko means nothing.
    wladimir is glass-chinned.
Nate Tubbs Tyson's bum sparring pertner destroyed a younger Sanders
    easily.
