How many times do I have to tell you judges and refs are appointed and chosen by a promoter..

Then you ask why did Floyd say Oscar chose when they fought.. I say I don't know maybe for dramatic effect.. You say so Floyd is a liar and I say sure.. Then an hour later you'll say Pac will never win when Floyd picks the refs and judges...smh

That is why Broner tried to get out of Maidana fight.
That is why Tyson used illegal biting tactics.
That is why Tyson Fury ducked Ustinov.

Fighters actually has a say on which referee would they get especially at these levels. Remember how both jmm and pac disapproves the commissions choice of cortez for their rematch?

About the judges, the promotions has to pay for their lodging and other ammenities thus a promotions can directly influence the fight. No wonder why we get terrible scorecards from some. Floyd knows this and he wants to take charge just like oscar took charge of the judges in their fight. Who knows maybe they can actually pick their judges just like how floyd picks his own testing agency. It's a corrupt sport and floyd unwittingly told it when he mentioned oscar doing it.

 

They choose from a pool that's available.. Your saying it like Floyd would go and choose his cousin or something.. Just like lawyers choose the jury..

If you really believe Floyd choose judges that favors him to win every fight (like he's had that many close fights), how do you explain the Canelo fight judges andtheMaidana 1 ref? How do you explain Pac vs Bradley? Wouldn't Pac choose the judges? Bob sent an investigation after that fight which means he would have hand picked the wrong ones? I'm not understanding your point of bringing refs and judges...

 

It's a bogus offer for two reasons: 1) Pac knew Floyd would not accept and 2) Pac can't make offers, Arum does.

Floyd has reasons for bringing it up. For the Canelo fight, one of the judges must be influenced by Oscar. Remember that it was GBP promotions that handled those fights. Pac-Bradley robbery is Arum's doing. He wants bradley to be the next superstar thinking pac is near the end of his career. He miscalculated with pac's longevity and bradley's star power.

So you can ask floyd himself why he needs to pick his own referee and judges. The answer should be obvious but you refuse to believe that boxing is corrupt.

If Golden Boy, Floyd, and Arum can influence judges regardless of who chooses them and have been doing it for who knows how long, how is it now a huge advantage for Floyd? Who do you suggest picks the judges for this fight? It wouldn't matter because someone will get to at least one anyway..

Every sport is corrupt.. When billionaires play games with their money and the millionaires are the pieces, corruption and shady things will always happen...

 

Ironically the one fight that would make him the most money in 4 or 5 fights doesn't seem to motivate Floyd. I guess money only motivates him when it's fighters that he chooses as opponents.

 

How big is an atg list? He is and was very skilled but will be remembered rightly or wrongly for ducking fighters as everyone even boxing writers and commentators mention it.
And as a previous poster said the ducking now across the board is disgraceful, id rather see a fighter get a few losses and wins but fighting the best
