Strange to see that some are still talking of Eubank's son as this Gerald McClellan calibre puncher. If Eubank gets hit against O'Sullivan like he did against Saunders he's liable to end up on his bum himself. And since when did it become an offence to aggressively call out a rival as arrogant and disrespectful as Eubank Junior has been?

I think a way to look at it is Spike never once troubled BJS with his punch power maybe and this is only maybe he can only depend on his punch against lesser opponents, the same may be said about CEJ

Eubank has been humiliating and gloating over smaller, weaker, part-time fighters since he turned pro, so he should be able to take a bit of abuse from a fellow fighter on social media.

True, he did better against BJS (I only gave Spike a round, whilst having Saunders only nicking it 7-5 over Eubank) but Spike fought the sharper version of Saunders, IMO. BJS vs. CEJ only became close because Saunders got stupid and started allowing himself to be hit with nonsense as it wore on...whereas in the same form as he showed when he fought O'Sullivan most of those shots wouldn't have found him.

When I bumped into Spike at the Saunders/Eubank card, I asked him if he was still interested in Macklin if he was of course to continue - this was obviously after Macklin was stopped to Heiland - he said no and was adamant he wanted Eubank Jr whatever the outcome between him and Saunders.

If it was too happen, he'd be right up for it put it that way.

Eubank is not as fast or as elusive as BJS. THOSE are the qualities BJS used to the max against Spike. BJS is there to be hit by Spike, and anybody Spike can hit, he can trouble. Spike hits hard...very hard. I wouldn't rule him out against CEJ at all.
