    Ottkes resume is good
It was only Ottkes 13th fight when he won a world title
Ottke made 21 title defences and was a winner of 22 world title fights
Ottkes reign was impressive when you consider he wasnt a puncher and didnt have an equalizer in his fists either.

    Look at who Ottke beat

Ottke & Calzaghe were two of a kind Both only fought at home where they knew they couldn't lose for the vast majority of their careers. Neither were world class champions. Both have many wins credited they didn't deserve. Some of the stoppage wins in Calzaghes career were simply criminal.
Calzaghe was not undefeated in reality. He knew Bernard Hopkins beat him hence the rushjed "retirement" when Hopkins said he'd come to Wales for a remnatch. The Slapster left for a life of cocaine, alcohol & debauchery while Bernard continued his legacy of a REAL ATG

And?? Only around hald were in the country he lived in.
Still fighting and defending away in Denmark, Germany and America is good, as is defending/fighting away to Woodhall, Reid, Eubank.
Where was he meant to go to defend? He was champ

What did Roy Jones do to be considered the best at SMW? His only good win there was Toney.

Why not? They are different countries. Some people from Wales cannot speak English.

On Calzaghe best night , Roy would still toy with him .

G man CRIPPLES Calzaghe less than 3 mins . The fight would not go past the 1st round .

It is very hard to gauge how well someone would do in a weight division they have little pedigree in. Gman only had one SMW fight, so im surprised you can draw such a conclussion.
As with Roy - I watched end of career, brittle handed, new weight division Calzaghe beat Roy

for a different of 6 pounds? sure he can. I can stil run my times with a few pork pies and taters in my gut. I am sure a top athlete like MCClellan could do.

Hagler has never spent 1 sec at 168 division .

Hell , I'll still pick him in a heartbeat to put a beating on Joe .

Calzaghe is one of the most questionable fighters of all time .
