Only two things are infinite, the universe and Mayweather fans stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

lol i was gonna post this and the fact the other 49% are scared he could lose to cotto so will blast it as a bad fight, maybe 1% of his fans believe the only real fight to be made would be against pac.

The #1 fight that should happen is Mayweather-Pacquiao but, since there constantly compared....
How is Cotto II any worse than heavily praised bouts like Pacquiao-Barrera II, or Bradley II(since Pac won 10-2 anyway), or Morales III?

Cotto is a HOFer and an ATG PR fighter coming off a huge win that seems to have everybody salty for some reason? At the right weight (157/8+) a Cotto rematch is bigger financially and historically than any other fight.

In a perfect world May-Pac happens in May and May-Cotto II happens in Sept should he beat Nelo.

If arum is to blame, then blame Canelo and Oscar who has reserved the date several months back. So what's the problem if Floyd and Pacquiao fights in any other dates? Aside from the date, as per Fat Dan's report, Floyd's camp has been doing absolutely nothing to negotiate for a Pac fight. Fat Dan mentioned that most of the work is done by Pac's camp and now we hear reports that they are luring Cotto out of the possible Canelo showdown giving boxing fans two middle fingers.

Cotto-Canelo and Pac-Floyd are two fights that are better for boxing. Floyd-Cotto2, kills both and is almost worthless from Floyd's standpoint now.

Pac-Barrera2 was not heavily praised. It's virtually a nonsense fight for pac. It happened because of barrera wanting the rematch and TR-GBP thawing of the cold war for the first time.

Morales3 is not as worthless going in because the score was tied at 1 a piece. Actually, pac's camp has no choice since Morales exercised their rematch clause.

Basically, Cotto2 is not a very bad fight at all if you did not consider the timing. It's way better than the Maidana fight but if you consider that he broadcasted on television that he accepted pac's challlenge, only to hear reports that floyd's camp is more interested in negotiating for a cotto fight, then it's all ****ed up

    1. Oscar already said he's willing to move dates IF Mayweather-Pacquiao happens. He agreed to step aside.

    2. Show us where they reserved the date. If not, admit you don't know what "reserved" means.

Me too. But as soon as it becomes a possibility, it's considered a cherry pick. Situations like this one make ALL of the cherry pick claims lose credibility.

I'm not a Floyd fan, and like everyone else, I want a Floyd vs Manny fight.

If not, a Roach trained Cotto/Khan will have to suffice.

As long as it's not for the MW title at a catchweight.

    Because that would be disgusting.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are capitalizing on each others names.

I would never buy another Pacquiao and Mayweather fight unless they fight each other, and even then it will not have as much significance.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are probably the most pathetic of Top champions of any era.
