Do you think a new weight limit/class is necessary for heavyweight?

eventually a new division will be needed. i'd put it at 200-215, and call it super cruiserweight.

Nah. If anything, they should eliminate a few divisions.

I really like to see some HW look better in the ring, but it's very difficult to judge if a boxer could have performed better if they had loss some excessive weight.

That's one of the 2 solutions I proposed, though I thought 200-220, but 200-215 can certainly be a good option as well.

You do realize light heavyweights weigh anywhere from 185-195, cruisers weigh anywhere from 210-225, and heavyweights should weigh at least 230, right?

Why is Wlad not allowed to weigh 247? If anything, the super heavyweight limit will be 250 when they eventually impose it. He'd still be under that. And that means you'd have 280lb guys easily dehydrating to make 250.

And there aren't more than a handful of heavyweights who weigh over 280. And they suck.
