Eye keeps twitching after sparring

    Hey guys, I did some sparring about 10 days ago, was a little careless with the jab and got caught by a few right counters. Since then, I've had this weird twitch in my left eyelid. I didn't pay much attention to it first, but it doesn't seem to go away. I've been hit a lot harder before in my left eye and it was ok. Should I get it checked out? Have any of you had this problem?

    You probably temporarily damaged a nerve no big deal, but if it gets worse, maybe you should see somebody about it.

    It should go away. If you have vision loss which doesn't go away then i'd go and see someone about it.

    Have you done lots of sparring over the years? If your'e new it could be a stress reaction like headaches etc My eye lid flutters when I'm tired.

    Don't take advice from a forum . Go get it checked out, probably not a big deal but its not for us to decide.

    I have had a twitchy eye from getting hit before but get it checked up if you are really concerned about it mate.

    Sounds like a combination of early onset of tourettes syndrome and brain damage that will lead to parkinsons and alzheimer's before being bound to a wheel chair.

    I’ve had this happen, several days later I fished an eyelash out from deep under my eyelid. I guess it got squished up there. It was making my eye twitch and I looked like a psycho.

    Training section. But get it checked out - almost certainly it's nothing but you you can't take risks with this **** - where are you? do you have to pay for checkups?
