Don't shout that Rigo has a glass chin, because he hasn't.
He got hit with soms bombs and didn't move. Both knock-downs we're legit but with the first one he was hit perfectly off balance. The second one, he got hit a few times, should have got a standing 8-count, but he was trhrown to the canvas.

He showed he has heart in this match. Respect to Rigo.

I've never seen Amagasa fight before; is Rigo getting dropped by him a cause for concern, or just part of the territory of championship boxing?

What? You don't agree with Mamerto logic that Rigo would easily beat Mike Tyson in a 12 round war? :rofl

Some people are intentionally overreacting for whatever reason (we probably know what that reason is though). If there is any concern, that's the other titleholders still being very concerned.

Rigo got dropped in the 7th but wasn't seriously hurt and wasn't close to being knocked out or anything like that. He quickly resumed the control of the fight. He won every round but the 7th and almost destroyed Amagasa in the process (hurting him many times and dropping him in the 10th I think), leading to the 11th round corner stoppage victory.

It will be interesting to see if the other titleholders will still keep talking about the TV money, popularity etc, or if they will finally be brave enough to challenge the Cuban. Rigondeaux earned 500.000$ for this fight, and was welcomed as a big star in Japan.

If I am correct, Frampton's biggest purse was 250k? Quigg earns probably around that number or possibly even less. Santa Cruz likely won't earn much more than that for his next opponent as well.

Rigondeaux is the biggest name in the division, but certain people prefer to pretend otherwise.

I hope Amagasa is alright. His face was a reconfigured mess. Looked like something Picasso painted
