But but but if Cotto belongs to Arum, how can Floyd poach him?

If it's not Pacquiao, there's really no excuse. Unless something new pops up. Right now it isn't looking good for Floyd. So stfu with that "you guys" BS, I am not like you.

Exactly. Arum should be negotiating that too and can kill the Cotto-Mayweather talk. Meaning he stands to make nothing on May 2nd.

He's poaching him from a Canelo fight. Floyd basically says **** you to all boxing fans who wants to see Cotto-Canelo and Pac-Floyd and all you're interested is if Floyd gets his date no matter who he is opponent is. Do you support a Floyd-Cotto rematch?

Sure if they were to fight as 160 without a catchweight. Bring it on.

But right now, the fight I wanna see is Pac/May. I don't care when it happens. April, May, or June. But I'm not the one doing the fighting. Floyd says he wants Pac on May 2. Well then that is what it is. Pac/May is the #1 fight people want so it's gets priority over everything. Crying about a date is a waste of time. A hell of a lot more important things to worry about. Like money splits.

So Floyd said he wants to fight Pacquiao but his team was reportedly offering Cotto the fight. How sincere is Floyd with fighting Pac this time around given those circumstance?

Personally, I don't have any issue if the fight with Cotto is at catchweight. They're both small for MW anyway. My issue is if Floyd is fighting for a MW crown, then Golovkin is the way to go. Floyd fighting Cotto next does not prove anything from Floyd's standpoint.

It's called having a backup plan. No different than Pac having the Vargas fight on standby in case things don't work out. It's smart idea when you consider the 1st thing out of Arum's mouth the moment Mayweather mentioned May 2 was "NO." Not the smartest response when you consider that Pac and ODLH have no issue with it.

If Floyd wants to try his hand at MW than I have no problem with him taking on Cotto instead of GGG right now. Dude can't even make the LMW so if he wants to test the waters in his first fight I can understand. But after that test is successful I would expect GGG to be next or forfeit the title.

    ^^

If he can't even make LMW or MW, why fight there?

Backup plan when according to Dan Rafael, it was Pac's team who is essentialy trying to negotiate for the Floyd fight? Meanwhile, Floyd's camp is busy trying to lure Cotto from a Canelo fight. You guys still defend this bullshiet from Floyd's camp?

If Floyd thinks he can't fight at MW, then don't fight Cotto at MW. Floyd is fighting a worthless fight just to get the date while blocking out two of the much anticipated fight in 2015. You guys still find reasons to support it.

Isn't that exactly what Pacquiao did with Margarito and LMW?

I think that was after the negotiation breakdown after both parties could not settle on the cutoff for testing. But at least there's negotiations.

Present situation, Floyd's camp is doing nothing in the negotiations but is offering Cotto a rematch so not exactly the same situation.

Is this your new line of defense for Floyd's bullshiet?

Question? How can Floyd be blocking the fight when Pac has no problem with fighting on May 2 and ODLH has no problem with moving to a later date? Where's this phantom blockade coming from? Only person out of this entire scenario who is having a problem with it is Arum. Surprise Surprise!

If Floyd is bluffing about making Pac fight on May 2nd why isn't Arum calling his bluff? If Floyd isn't serious that would be a very easy and very quick way to find out.
