Main difference is that when JMM goes down it's from hellacious punches and JMM's aggressive counter-punching style exposes him more to being hit than Rigo's amateur defense first style.

So if they both go down as much, but one fighter goes down despite defense being his biggest asset and by lsser punches, then it's safe to say Rigo may very well have a Glass mandible.

When Floyd KDed Marquez it wasn't a hellacious punch. It was a flash KD.

Flash KD from a guy who was naturally bigger, and illegaly bigger at the weigh-in, and bigger on fight night.

I just saw a clip of Rigo going down from a jab.

Considering he doesn't really get hit, and his style is to avoid getting hit at all costs, yet still gets put on his ass, I think it's fair to speculate that Rigo may very well have a glass jaw.

That doesn't even make sense. The guy has never been KO'd. He was hit with Donaire's bread and butter left hook, and got right back up. That isn't a glass jaw. Some guys get hit with a on point punch and go down. Other guys get hit with on point punches and don't. Some guys get hit with them and are KO'd. Glass, is someone like Kirkland when he fought Ishida.

Rigs literally jumped into the jab from Cordoba. Who was about 4 to 5 inches taller than Rigs, and heavier in the ring. Rig's wasn't even hurt.

Having a glass jaw means you go down easily. Plain and simple. That's how fighters who get dropped alot have always been referred too.

Unless you're like Trinidad who had an avearge chin but was very clumsy on his feet. Rigo is not clumsy, and has great balance.

    Thanks for the feedback. :good

Knowing the circumstances, I'm not terribly concerned going forward. Knockdowns happen, but judging by the other guy's face and the scores, he took care of business just fine. I do rate Rigo highly H2H, but it doesn't look like I'll be changing my stance on that once I can check the fight out.

Rigondeaux seems like he can go down in any fight. That's concerning.

Rigo didn't not look that great, he was very lucky he wasn't in the ring with LSC.

Rigo may have some trouble with tall fighters, lucky for him LSC is like 5'6 and frampton is 5'5.

The size difference in that fight would be comical. Look at the difference between Rigo and Nonito, and the difference between Walters and Nonito.

It'd be a Gamboa-Crawford situation all over again.
