Damage control. Looks like someone is having doubts.

He retired to wiggle out of the rematch clause with Oscar. He found a loop hole and exercised it. My opinion.

its good news because arum is actually willing to negotiate. instead of just hanging up on offers previously given by mayweather and his team (40m offer aswell as 35% upside of ppv plus 40m flat fee offered by moonvez? or was it espinoza that offered that?)

He already turned down 40 million. Then he lost 2 fights and got brutally KOed. He has fought nothing but feather fisted handpicked opponents since then. What is he expecting? He should be thrilled to get 60/40. Even Fat Dan said 65/35 would not be unrealistic.

Only fighter I have ever heard of requesting a 90/10 split was Roy Jones and we all know what a handpicker and ducker he was.

i agree he should not fight for nothing or peanuts HELL EVEN 40M initially offered by mayweather a while back was ridiculous but if pacs gonna keep clamoring on about "ill fight for free etc" then im starting to think floyd has every right to make such stupid offers to match such stupid statements

Listen, Pacquiao is such a disgrace he has to fight in Macau. Has Floyd been relegated to fighting overseas because people won't buy his fights? Maidana proved his worth in the first fight he is light years better than Algeiri. Why are they protecting Pacquiao from punchers? Tell me?
