Prime v Prime? De la Hoya by mid to late stoppage; too big an advantage in almost every single department. Barrera's heart keeps him in there longer than it should, but I wouldn't disagree if someone said he would finish him earlier.
MAB is much more experienced at 130 than DLH. Oscar is very green at this weight and MAB could give him trouble altought i see a late stoppage for Oscar since he is bigger, stronger and about just as fast as MAB but i see MAB giving him trouble early where Oscar would have trouble figure him out. But MAB's prime weight is 126 so...
Hoya at 130 is very young, only had 12-13fights, very basic and very drained. He had 2 fights at the weight. The Barrera who fought Morales the 3rd time would stay away from the left hook, counter Delahoya and take over in the second half of the fight. After 6 rounds its 3-3, but Barrera wins 4 of the next 6 to win 7-5
DLH at 130 is very fast, very strong, and an unusually tall (5'10 and change) for a super featherweight. He stops Barerra in mid-rounds ... Barerra doesn't stand a chance against a prime - 130lb DLH ...
De La Hoya mid round T/KO Barrera didn't have the size to deal with the huge 130 pound version of De La Hoya. He was too skilled, too fast, and just too much.
