    Eubank stopped only a handful of SMWs, and the only ones who were world class or remotely close to it were Watson (who was a MW moving up) on a freak once in a lifetime punch and Sam Storey. But you think he'd KO Nardiello? :rofl

    Eubank hated fighting southpaws.

    Both prime.
    Reid was a fighter that could be great one day and not as good the next, so I am going to say that I have picked the best Reid, like the one who started the first round against Pretorius.

    I think Collins would have trouble as Reid had a great chin and was a good counter puncher, who could hit, but would favour Collins on aggression and workrate.
    Collins by close decision, but both prime, I wouldnt bet on it

    Havent seen this for years.
    It reminds me how much tougher that era seemed, just lesser known. Its always a pleasure when a poster like yourself who recalls the era posts, as I know I can have a sensible debate with someone who does know

    Reid didnt lose badly to Malinga at all. It was a real non event where they were both very negative and wanting to counter rather than attack

    I like that era a lot. I followed it pretty closely. Even if I didn't get to see all the fights I was still able to keep track of what was going on because I used to read every boxing magazine I could get my hands on back then - Boxing News, Boxing Monthly, The Ring, KO magazine, World Boxing, International Boxing Digest (later shortened to just Boxing Digest) and one or two others that I can't recall the names of now. I used to have tons of them but I chucked most of them about five or so years ago as they were talking up too much space.
