Now if Cotto can sign and the fight will either have April something or May 2nd aka TBD for a few weeks then Cotto will sign. but Honstely Cotto is about that money and he doesnty want to go against May-Pac. if Cotto signs today and its May 2nd then May-Pac gets signed like Late Janurary then Cotto will be ****ed because May-Pac will happen May2nd wether Arum likes it or not! so thats a problem!

Now HBO will probably tell Oscar he mega fight is signed you should move your date but the problem is when will they sell tickets?? Cotto-Canelo cant be witing around till May-Pac get there **** together to start selling tickets.

Manny Pacquiao open to Floyd's May 2 fight date.

Mayweather last year said he wants to fight Pacquiao on May 2, 2015, and the "Pacman" on Monday said it was not an issue for him.

Date is not an issue and we all know Pacquiao is willing to take less purse since Mayweather is the ''A Side''.

 

team pac and arum was always willing to fight on may 2 they were just using it as a negotiation tool

 

Hopefully no more road blocks from Mayweather though.

The question is, will Floyd accept 60-40 purse split or will he demand a lower purse for Pacquiao?

Think about it, the fight will be on cinco de mayo and Pacquiao will also pull in big numbers for the fight.

Fight should really be split 60/40 with the 60 going to the LEGITIMATE winner. Who ever that may be
