Not sure why people are arguing about Khan fighting Kell, this fight will defo happen. It's no surprise that the majority of boxers are after money (being a prizefighting sport), so Khan is obviously aiming for the golden goose, that is Floyd. Surprise surprise, so is everyone else and their pet iguana.

Why isn't Khan fighting Kell right now? Because it's a risky fight, a fight that he can lose. If he loses that, then the big money showdown with Floyd or Pac evaporates. Also, I think the Kell fight is too early in my opinion. Kell still needs to increase his exposure and after a defence or two, the fight between him and Khan will generate more money, especially if Khan picks up a strap.

It won't surprise me if both have agreed to fight but want the fight to get more publicity. It doesn't take master mind to work that out. Both fighters get more exposure and throw in some WWE style arguments, then it becomes a big Wembley stadium event. That's how boxing works!

Fanboys really need to stop being so touchy lol

Agreed. This fight will happen in due course and if both stay unbeaten. It could be a monster fight in the UK.

I don't think this is a risky fight for Khan though. More that the time isn't right and he is chasing Mayweather.

Kell is a beast of a WW in my opinion. Yes Khan has the tools to UD him but he hasn't faced a powerful counter puncher at WW yet and for me, Khan still makes mistakes, even though he's reduced them under Hunter.

Kell is definitely the real deal and very much a classy boxer. Khan will have to be very careful and box close to a perfect fight to win it. Kell is quite accurate and any silly lunges from Khan will be punished. Kell has the tools to beat Khan but it depends if he becomes more aggressive. He needs to push the action and punch with Khan. He needs to be willing to take a punch to give one back.

But what is clear is Khan has been in with some better opposition to Kell and Khan will be someone he's never faced before. How well he does depends on how he adjusts to Khans speed.

I think Khan would beat Mayweather in a 10 - 2 or 12 - 0 type decision. Call it crazy but i just think he can do it.

Although, if he fought Kell Brook he might get knocked out.

Yes agreed, this is what will ultimately dictate the fight.

Kell has advantages of size and strength, but Khan's speed, when used with the sort of combination punching he used against Alexander, which is difficult to time with counters, can trump these. Speed is a real killer and hard to overcome, it nullifies opponents.

For one thing, they haven't both agreed to fight, once they do then they can start publicising the fight. But they need to start hyping up the fight together, to get casual fans interested, not just us, who are fans of boxing. Take Groves, he did everything to make the fight and all his subsequent actions publicised it beautifully. Froch clearly wasn't up for it, he just wasn't that bothered. If it wasn't for all the Groves niggle, I can't imagine so many showing that much interest. We all know that Froch was more interested in mega fights in Vegas, he never saw Groves as being on the same level. He dismissed him as such, that's why the first fight went so badly for him.
