People say Bermaine has all this skill but wasn't Areola looking mighty equal with him at times ???

Let's not get crazy people Bermaine is solid in terms of power but that's about it really

If you look at some of the shots Stiverne took from the 2 Arreola fights you can see that he also has a solid beard to go with his own power...then you can add in his skills. He might not be Lennox Lewis skilled but he does possess some decent boxing skills.

In a HW fight its all about who lands first and the hardest. There will be a nose dive from one of these guys but no DIVE:good

Unless they are gonna pay stiverne more money than he would earn from fighting klitschko there is no way he is taking a dive.
Wilder is there to be countered and stiverne will be the man to get the job done.

    Bye bye hype job

Can you explain the reason why he would throw the fight? It cant be money because if he wins he can make big money against Wlad in a unification.

Who knows if it's going to be a fixed fight but I'm sure the fight will be watched closely

    think about it:

Deontay becomes the first "exciting" American heavyweight champ in years. How much money would he generate if he feasted on bums during his reign?

    alot.

So they could afford to "invest" in Stiverne taking a dive.

    Its possible.

There's lots of money to be made with Wilder so a payoff to Stiverne could be quite large. Furthermore, Stiverne is old and doesn't fight often making a payoff even more attractive. Additionally, it is not even a sure thing he'd win if a legit fight happens.

    This is very true.

I am also concerned about this. Hoping this is an actual "fight" where both guys show up to win. It's going to be clearly obvious if a fix is in place. There are indeed some ominous signs though.

    This assessment is 100% true.

When all is said and done, let's hope we see a fight where it is clearly obvious that both of them came to win. I don't think it would be fair to say that the ONLY way Wilder could beat Stiverne is via fixing/dive. Some of his detractors are positioning themselves to do just that, which is definitely ignorant.

But... I also don't think it's wise to assume that a fix can't be possible in the current scenario surrounding this fight.

It's a case of putting your money where your mouth is. If you think it's going to be fixed get your money on.

Is it not possible that this is Wilders cash out fight, with a very small possibility of him winning? Wilder is SO poor I just don't think anyone would invest serious money in him.

Don't let common sense get in the way of a good conspiracy theory
