Nick Blackwell - any news?

That stuff is all bull**** , it's about landing good punches

 

Its laughable some people want to argue Blackwell did better against Saunders than Eubank did. You think you are experts because you have watched boxing. I bet none of you have actually boxed or been involved in any official capacity. I have both and its ridiculous how biased you are and how much utter **** you talk.

Maybe you should have told the judges how good Blackwell did against Saunders. Or him and his management. Maybe if you told him that he really did better against Saunders they'd be lining up a fight with Chudinov rather than hovering around the british scene trying to figure out which journeyman to fight. If they had confidence in his ability they would now be building him towards a world title fight, not a british title. Truth is he will never fight for a world title while he is still getting beaten at the level he is now.

 

naw thats fair enough but dont go on about looking composed, eubank was wild but it worked , how many rounds did you give blackwell, i think he only won like 2 or 3 and they were late on and billy joe teed off on him early loads of combinations and that, i dont think anyone gave that fight to blackwell i mean like 100per cent of people would have given that to saunders

 

Eubank Jr might be in for a shock fighting Chudinov so soon after his loss to BJS.


He should have given Blackwell a shot first before he goes up a level after a loss to rebuild himself.

 

BJS said a fight between Nick Blackwell and Eubank Jr would be a hell of a fight.


BJS knows Blackwell is atleast on Eubank Jr's level and it should've been a fight Eubank Jr pursued first before jumping in against a bigger puncher in Chudinov.

Eubank Jr is adamant about skipping british level and i don't think it's a good idea for him right now.

He has to refine his skills and learn from those types of fights with Ryder, Blackwell, Spike O Sullivan,...etc... then step up in class.

I didn't think his fight with BJS was a split decision. I thought BJS clearly outboxed him and made him look very crude and sloppy.

Eubank Jr may pick up a paper WBA interim title but it won't entirely mean he is above british/european level. I consider Chudinov european level.

Eubank Sr isn't managing him right at all. He took the Saunders fight for little money on his first step up and fought a tricky southpaw.

In reality he should have fought Blackwell or Ryder before Saunders imo.

 

Billy Joe in reality picked up at least a couple of the last six, he won easily. Why the judge needed to taint his victory who knows. But watching the Eubank's camp reaction after the bell... it's more than obvious who had won.

Billy's stamina was again a problem though.
