A bit of a shame this one never popped off I think it would've been a very good fight. Prime for Prime at welterweight who takes it?

I was sorry this fight never came off...I would give the edge to Trinidad at welter or super welter...Mosely was hittable, and Trinidad could really crack. It wouldn't be an easy fight though...

Tough call. Id be rooting for Mosely but my gut says Tito would catch him, hurt him, and finish him.

I know styles make fights but Mosley had more success against Vargas and Oscar than Tito did, and NOBODY ever stoped Shane, i don't see Trinidad doing it either, Mosley had a durable set of whiskers...

I see Shane outworking Tito and winning a decision, in a competitive fight...

    At what weight ?

if tito fought at 140lbs I'm taking Shane up to 147lbs. After that I'd take Tito.

Im a mosely fan but lets be honest, he wasnt stopped because when he got hurt, tiref, or was overmatched he quit trying. Just watch his fights with floyd, wright, and forrest and tell me he was trying to win those fights after a couple of rounds. Mosely was durable but he wasnt bullet proof.

ssm/odlh I is one of my favorite fights. the way shane looked in that fight...tito was a destructive force to be sure but i just don't see him beating that version of shane. oscar had a pretty damn good left of his own so its not like tito is just going got flatten him.

sugar shane UD. close but clear.

Think Shane's speed would beat trinidad. Also shane had a better chin.

Mosley could be outboxed, but no one is gonna steamroll him at welter, not even Tito. I think Trinidads aggressive style would suit Mosley perfectly, Tito would push forward and Mosley would back away and then jump in with combinations before Trinidad could get off, much like he did to DHL in the first fight. It would be exciting since Mosley was certainly hittable, but I think his chin would have held up. Mosley by UD.

It's a great fight. Could go either way. I don't think DLH-Trinidad has much to do with this fight, since Oscar had a gameplan to exploit Tito's inability to move sideways and Shane doesn't have the tools to do that. I expect Mosley vs Tito to be a much better fight, actually.

Tito will pressure behind a jab, mixing in hooks and straight rights behind it. Mosley will backpeddle, pitter-patter-jab to obsctruct view, and attempt to blindside Tito with spirited power punches, mixing in plenty of body-shots.

I think at 147, Tito has a good chance of visiting the canvas early. I also think late in the fight, if Mosley is not on EPO, that Tito will be the considerably stronger man and might impose his will on Shane.

Mosley cannot play keepaway well and will ship damage before the final third, and it is possible Tito will stop him.

Mosley did well against a similar fighter in Margarito, but Tito has a much better jab and is mich tighter with his offense. Mosley did not do so well against Forrest, and Tito throws his straight punches with similar earnestness.

    Genuinely difficult fight to predict.

I agree that the fight should be very different from DHL - Trinidad, but I think it might play out something like DHL - Mosley 1. Oscar tried to walk Mosley down and Shane thrived off it. Forrest beat Shane by soundly outboxing him, something I don't think Trinidad could do even if he wanted to. Tito will be the agressor, and that will play into Mosley's hands as he did best against fighters that came forward.
