This is actually true. Floyd has never been an undisputed champ, the only time he fought a unification was Maidana, and the only time he fought a unified champ was Alvarez.

154: He's lineal there. He didn't clean it out, but he beat Alvarez and Alvarez has since "beat" Lara. Nobody is gonna complain if Floyd doesn't fight Bundrage and Andrade. Everybody accepts that Lara would beat him, but nobody wants to see that. Andrade probably would as well.

147: Floyd was lineal til he retired, and Pacquiao is the clear tie for #1 right now. Brook has the IBF legitimately. Margarito, Williams, and Cotto held titles at the same time as Floyd.

140: Tszyu was a p4p lineal champ and Floyd moved up when Hatton beat him. Cotto a beltholder as well. Gatti was clearly the weakest beltholder.

135: Spadafora, Dorin, and Grigorian held titles. JLC was clearly the #1 guy. Floyd was lineal but didn't clean out the division or defend against a #1 contender.

130: Freitas and Casamayor held titles. Floyd moved up when Freitas unified against Casamayor. Floyd never attempted to become lineal or unify.
