    Thats good to have that back up plan because I still feel (And Oscar and Arum must too) that a May-Pac fight will come off and it will happen May 2nd and NO OTHER DATE! SO this is good.

    I stsated before that Cotto was waiting because he doesnt want to go head to head with Mayweather. I know Canelo wants the Cinco De Mayo weekend but man wait one year. all canelo has to do is worry about getting and Beating Cotto. now about a date, dude only 24.

    Cotto will now push for the fight since he has another date to fight. didnt want to go against Mayweather and now wont have to if and when May-Pac gets signed.

    Things looking good folks!! I think 2 mega fights can get signed by end of month :bbb:bbb :happy:happy

    i guess this means floyd vs pac happens most likely. I think cotto vs canelo were scared of that fight anyways. The truth is if floyd and pacquiao wanted to fight on may2nd, they would do it anyways. Cotto vs Canelo isn't really competition.

    I wonder where in New York , Canelo did say he would never fight Cotto in MSG .

    Im guessing he believe the judges will be baised towards him .

    He has to fight him in MSG, boxing mecca. Unless somehow JayZ gets involved and tries to get it at the Barclays....

    Wherever is at, all I know is that I will be there....Another PR parade for me this year.......

    I know and Canelo's new deal says 3 times a year! so do better grind out the next 6 months after that to get it done. supposed to be 2 ppv's and 1 free fight

    Yeah Puerto Rican day for reals! Plus all Mexicans know they celebrate the Sept holiday way more then Cinco De Mayo. Canelo can come back and do that in Septemeber if no May-Pac rematch or something.

    if the pac vs may fight happens around the same time as cotto vs canelo i wouldnt even give a second thought to cotto vs canelo they should just fight in sep if the mega fight happens
