If Pacquiao-Mayweather happens in May, I give Oscar De La Hoya tonds of credit for putting Mayweather in a corner.

When PAC loses you will jump on those excuses regardless. So deal with it.

Are you implying that TMT is bigger than Top Rank?

    Is Macau a fair venue?

No I am implying that Paquaio would never get a fair fight in Vegas against Floyd. Maidana had an honest referee in his first fight but the judges protected Floyd. In the rematch with Kenny Bayless? Maidana was given no chance.
No fighter had had a fair fight against Floyd in Vegas

You are an unmitigated embarrassment to songwriting.

But- boxing-wise- this is dead on.

    So, good work.

Macau would be fairer than Vegas yes. So would Texas stadium
Vegas commission & officials have always favoured Floyd. Problem is Floyd wouldn't be legally able to use xylocaine anywhere but Vegas. Yet another unfair advantage he gets

This is actually a leaked transcript of what was said between Floyd and Manny during the negotiations.

despite all the signs being more positive than ever before I cant help shake the feeling something is going to come up to stop the fight from happening some new roadblock I mean can Arum/Mayweather/Haymon/SHO/HBO (I imagine they will be involved somehow) really pull this off? just seems so unlikely

    also just read this

Per TheSweetScience.com, Roach told boxing reporter, Micheal Woods, “I think I’m getting close to saying it’s very close, I think we’re very close.” He continued by stating the fight is closer than it has ever been to being made.

I disagree. But Pac doesn't have to worry.

    1. Top Rank has deeper pockets, so Pac need not worry about corruption in the ref or judges.
    2. Pac boxes on the outside so the ref is a non factor.
    3. Pacquiao is a big money maker in Vegas too, doubt they'd cheat him. They actually benefit on Pac winning because of the rematch.

You guys all sound scared now. First it was "Floyd won't fight he's scared", now that it looks likely you guys change your tune to "Pac could get robbed "

How is Floyd going to fix a fight when Top Rank has bigger pockets? Should Floyd not be worried?

You guys are confident Pac beats Floyd or even KOs him, the judges and refs are a non factor then. What you're truly afraid of is if Pac doesn't beat him clearly enough to get a decision, Floyd will get the nod.

    Stop making excuses.

Macau more fair than Vegas? Ftoh! Lol

Canelo almost got the nod against Floyd so throw that judging BS out the window. Favored Floyd? He clearly beat ALL of his opponents Vegas. The refs didn't save him.

    this is true.

if Floyd dominates manny, people don't want to see a rematch.

if Floyd beats manny in a close fight, people will want a rematch.

if manny beats Floyd in a close fight or domination, there will be a rematch since it would be Floyd first loss.

    I would say
    Maidana vs Thurman
    Mathysse vs Broner
Santa Cruz vs Rigo to start it off :)

THIS IS A MEGA FIGHT, I cant think of to many fights that couldn't be on the undercard.

    Thoughts?
