It's a shame that Froch is at the end of his career. I'd love to see him against Stevenson, GGG and Kov. I always wanted to see what Froch could do at LHW but the man is always walking around near the SMW mark that it would put him at a disadvantage. GGG on the otherhand would make a good fight and Kov would be a little too hard. I think he would beat Stevenson if he fought a disciplined fight behind the jab.

I agree with that - I'd fancy Froch as well.

Yeah Stevenson has a bingo shot with that left hand but I do think the Dawson fight (considering what we've seen from Dawson since) has made more of his power than it is.

If there's anyone around his weight class that can take his shots it's Carl Froch.

Also, I wasn't too impressed with Stevenson against Fonfara.

Why couldn't this fight be made at 168. It's well known Froch makes 168 comfortably and has never fancied 175, but Stevenson moved up to 175 to chase a title shot with Dawson not because he was struggling to make weight?

Remind me what happened when a decent hitting southpaw Canadian fought Froch. He got smashed to bits. I can see the same with Stephenson. I think he hits harder than Bute and the size might be a problem but if Froch can stop the left hand and work inside I can see him beating Stephenson up.. He struggled with Fonfara and Froch is levels above him

Froch can't fight on the inside. He's a mid-range fighter with a jab he can work from long range to set up his mid range ambushes. When he tries to fire forwards with an ambush attack he gets caught with that left hand.

Can argue the same case about Stevenson.

froch will have too, get close and fight stevenson inside. Froch may have long arms, but stevenson has a longer reach, and is a long range puncher. stevenson don't like it inclose, or to be pressured.

    Froch by KO.

Froch has shown an iron chin and the ability to recouperate and recover in fight

Stevenson was knocked out by Darnell Boone and put on the canvas by Fonfara

Why are people saying Froch gets KO'd?

Stevenson couldn't put Fonfara away whose jaw is nowhere near as good as Froch's and Stevenson is notorious for packing china.

    Froch by mid-round KO.
