You gotta hope that Stiverne remembers that moment.

While he clearly was not badly hurt, or in grievous danger, he was taking shots, bravado, machismo, whatthefukkever, and if he does that vs Wilder, he WILL be hurt, maybe not bad enough to go down, but certainly enough for an antsy ref to jump in.

Word is out that Mago is near death, once again, and Im sure most officials are aware of the potential dangers from letting fighters take punishment. And Im also just as sure that whoever is reffing this bout, knows of Wilders damaging shots to Liakovich and Kelvim Price, and if he lands several of those types of shots in succession, I can't see a ref letting it go forward, whether Stiverne is hurt or not.:think

    Very true.

And Stiverne said just last night, that he has ZERO interest in a fight with Wladimir, even though Wlad has been calling him ever since he picked up the paper title.:think

Wilder has got KTFO many times in sparring. That's why there is a reason why he is so protected. And the reason is his GLASS CHIN! Cmoon 6 years a pro and now its his first stepup. It should have happened in his 3rd or 4th year already. Wilder is getting brutally KO'd next saturday.

Sounds like speculation and hearsay to me. I know Stiverne can stop him and I'm leaning towards him but Wilder is no chump and might very well ice Stiverne.

there's def footage of wilder getting cracked by david haye in sparring. It's a quick clip but it on yotube somewhere. I think it was in a build up video for haye vs wlad.

But wilder can also pack a punch IMO so if he lands first it could be lights out

It was the build up for Haye/Fury and yes he gets cracked and clearly wobbled in that. It's clear he has chin issues, he's been protected for a reason but he has a punchers chance against Stiverne who has been stopped before despite showing a good chin against Arreola.

Wilder's power gonna end up counting as much as Gary Russell's speed.

It was marketed as "Haye almost knocking out Wilder" and I never got why this was anything to boast about. A 32 year old veteran pro "almost" knocking out a far less experienced up and comer? Why was Haye proud of "almost" knocking out Wilder, a guy who was been floored by 375 lbs Dustin Nichols?

And Haye didn't even knock down Wilder :rofl:rofl:rofl

Stiverne seems to have a solid chin.....never been down in the pros. The stoppage vs king .
was a real bad decision on the refs part. And should not be used against him. He took many big shots from arreola....who is a puncher. So a great chin with skills and power in both hands. Wilder.....very suspect chin limited skills, cant fight going backwards but has big power in his right hand. I reckon wilder has a chance to win and can't be discounted but odds ae he's getting put to sleep next Saturday. .......but only a week to go then the speculation will be no more and it will be history and we'll know if wilder isfor real or as suspected a hype job. One way or another the hype train is gonna stop next Saturday. Can't wait! :yep !
