Nothing new his dad don't want the fight, Mexicans admire Rigo starting from one of the best trainer Nacho who made a comment "Rigo's style is too complicated" Aber Mares is another fighter who admited he got no chance also he lost to Rigo in the amauter Pan American Games.

    Yup.

I feel bad for Leo. The last few weeks since he came out with the quotes about how he's looking for Mares and not Rigo, he's had to do a ton of backtracking. The last article headline was "Leo Santa Cruz: I'm tired of People Saying I'm Scared" Well no sh!t, then stop ducking Rigo and going for easier fights!

He really p****s me off this c**t, calls out Rigonduex and Mares at the same time. Wonder who he'll fight, the top guy in the division or the guy knocked out in 1 round. All this whilst scheduled to fight some guy who's not even in the top 50 and after fighting a sparring partner last time out. Shameful!

Super Bantam is a great division, Scott Quigg fights better competition for gods sake!

Let's not forget who is advising Santa Cruz (Al Haymon). Haymon doesn't care about boxing.

There was some talk that Al Haymons fighters have the final say in the opponents level.
It probably isnt the case for all 140 Haymon Boxing clients but there are fighters who are given the option of fighting lesser opponents.
    Leo be ducing!

Familiar pattern emerging with LSC and Scott Quigg....get in the media huffing about fighting the big names....then ACTUALLY fight second and third tier mullokers.

These two losing all credibility now!

This approach is not unique to Haymon. In the UK Superbantam Scott Quiggs management are following the exact same approach with him.
Ie...call out the big names in your division at every opportunity...but NEVER actually fight one of them...

Not true. Haymon gives his guys tough fights if they want them. Rico Ramos wanted a piece of Rigondeaux, and got his **** worked. It ain't Haymon stopping Santa Cruz from fighting Rigs, it's the fighter and his pops.
