There's not much on the table for Ward.

Anthony Dirrell, Andre Dirrell and Julio Cesar Chavez are with Al Haymon so those fights won't happen.

Froch and Team Golovkin do not seem interested. Bob Arum is not about to sacrifice Gilberto Ramirez to Andre Ward and Hearn and Sauerland will be in no rush to send DeGale and Groves over there.

Kessler and Stieglitz are possibly his best options for the forseeable future, or maybe B-Hop changes his mind about fighting him.

What's in it for Abraham? he can get big money in competitive fights fighting Sturm and Stieglitz. Can't see it, not that I want to see it either, been done.

Exactly. The German crowd is not coming over to Cali for a Ward fight, they know what's up risk & reward wise... especially with German viewerships being through the roof if you compare them to the US.

Truax, Sartison, Edwards, maaaaaaybe Tommy Gun... that type of opponent will be Ward's Spring/Summer comeback fight.

If he can't be bothered to fight I can't pretend to be bothered about what he might do in the future

Stay at 168 because in 1 year time Ward-GGG will be the biggest fight that can be made if GGG beats Cotto/Canelo

Who gives a damn if he aint moving up

Can only laugh at him waiting like an obediant dog for a big cash fight with a middleweight. By the time GGG moves up he'll likely be the cash cow of the sport, and hopefully completely ignore the jokeland bore

Ward will probably fight a couple tune ups, a good fighter that can test him like Gilberto Ramirez and than against a more quality opponent like Felix Sturm.

After that Ward will fight the best in SMW maybe one of the Dirrell brothers or the winner of a DeGale/Groves. If he's still undefeated after 4 fights, he will call out GGG. After the GGG fight, than Ward will move up to LHW.

But Ward needs a fight ASAP, at least as early as March.

I think one fight against some bum and I am not even kidding. I don't think Ward is in it with his heart anymore, he can make good coin just on commentating other guys fighting.

    :yep:yep:yep

    Very well said.

Next to Beterbiev........he's the top 168-175lb prospect.

Chances are, his fight with Vlasov will tell us if he is the future of the divisions.:thumbsup
