    I think if The Machine controls the ring he can out box the kid but the risk is always out there for a KO from Russian.

    Timmy almost lost his brain in the ring so we know Russian hits very hard and lands clean. Chris got that Rocky Eye:!: right off the bat from Ruslan:shock:

    If Big Al makes this happen it will be a great fight:smoke

    He has a great chin against Bradley, Algieri and Herrera who have no power, and Alvarado has decent power but not extraordinary. I don't think anyone he's fought come close to having La Machina's power which he'll be walking into over and over again, which isn't a very good idea.

    I LOVE this fight...tough one to call. Provodnikov looks like a killer but he always finds a way to lose rounds. He somehow let Algieri skitter away from him for 12 rounds, and he almost killed Bradley and still managed to lose.

    We haven't seen him in with a fellow puncher though. He won't have to go looking and he won't have to worry about dodging 20-punch combos. Bombs away from both sides. Maybe a slight edge to Provodnikov with his proven resilience? But again, it was against nonpunchers. I can definitely see him dropping Matthysse if Molina could do it.

    I really can't call it but I lean toward Matthysse since he has the better skills and I don't know how Provodnikov will handle his power. Might be interesting to see Matthysse fighting off the back foot for once, because I can guarantee that's how it'll play out at least initially.

    at no point Provo was hurt by Bradley

    he got cut, he's got one of those easy to cut paper skins, but that's it.

    the one chickendancing all around in that fight was Bradley

    who couldn't hurt a little girl with his feather fists btw

    I think Matthysse is better and pre Garcia I would have taken him to win a decision....

    But I think his chin might be a bit dented, and in this type of fight its hard to not go against the guy who may have the better chin. Then again Ruslans face is more prone to cuts....


    Hard fight to pick for me....



    That all being said..... wow, what a brutal fight this one would be. A truly epic matchup.

    Both of them get wasted in a bloodbath of epic proportions. Prov will win first 3-4 rounds, on the brink of stopping Matthysse, then like a fukin zombie, Lucas comes back and with Prov punched out, Lucas leaves the Russian on a stretcher, looking like Olaf after the fight. I still go for Provo, but Lucas is a beast.
