You don't need to be an expert if they trade who is getting hurt first, the only chance Cotto has is to box him and use his good jab. Cotto has been knock out and ***** street few times.

Great pick em fight boxing needs these

For the red haired pampered kid Canelo since Trout has been all about fighting the best

Canelo the much more powerful man, with the better chin.

As soon as he lands a bomb, the fight will be as good as over: Canelo TKO 8.

The last time Cotto faced a very good YOUNG fighter he got spank! Ask Trout!

Cotto is a good at throwing uppercuts to the nutsack. He's too slow and even Maidana has better defense than him. That's the only way he'll beat Chucky from Mexico or that scarecrow Lara.

Exactly, he's got a lot of BS decisions and he should have finished off Mosley which he didn't.

And I also don't think Canelo is as good as his record looks like.

He's looked rather ordinary against Mosley,Trout and Lara.

If he wins its to keep the hype train alive. If he loses its because he got knocked out..

I honestly think the Maravilla fight was a combination of Cotto 1) going back to his roots strictly a bodypuncher with a potent left hook and 2) perfectly timed matchmaking by Roach. I'd like to believe Cotto really rejuvenated his career, but for that he'd have to get his revenge on Trout, cuz if he can't get past Trout, there's no way he's getting past Canelo.

Cotto would knock out Trout right now in a rematch.

:yep It sure seems that way, Trout not lookin so hot as of late. Not sure if Cotto would be interested in a rematch as a stay busy fight, but since Trout doesn't command the $$$ a Canelo or Mayweather fight would, I doubt it happens. If the Canelo fight falls thru, Cotto can unify against Taylor.

So would Canelo, I think Trout may have just been rusty when he fought Dawson, his chin hadn't been properly checked for awhile and he needed to get it warmed up, but I thought he looked great against Grajeda, far better than Willie Nelson did. I think working with Barry Hunter has done him some good.

cotto is a fugazi, he beat a handicapped martinez and a living skeleton rodriguez and people on here think he is the second coming. canelo would send him home crying into retirement.

I think Canelo will beat cotto but he clearly was outclassed and outpointed by Lara.
