Not heard that but what happens if he is? Does the number 2 in the rankings get the shot? Or does Kell get to pick a voluntary?

Kell Brook has a voluntary next, delay granted because of the injury. This will almost certainly be in Sheffield at the end of March, there is even talk of a PPV double header with Froch Chavez later on from Vegas, although that seems unlikely. I think winner of Rios Alverez is a possibility. Other than that it would have to be Bradley or Marquez which isn't likely, Thurman or Maidana make no sense.

I do feel the Froch Chavez fight has caused somewhat of a log jam with the Matchroom stable, as there aren't many fights scheduled, injuries to Brook and Crolla haven't helped, but when the Froch fight is sorted I expect others to fall into place.

amir khans supposed to be in the gym too, so they may put them both on the same card to hype up a mega fight in june time

Day three in the gym for Kell apparently- about as much as I've done since Christmas.

You misread his twitter - it said his third workout of the DAY.

He's just back from a 2 week training camp in Furteventura.

    Yeah right. More like overrated.

He has beaten a nobody in Porter, and was on course for a trilogy with Carson Jones!

Brook is the weakest champ at 147.

    Name me his best wins...

He has as many fights as Khan, has been as active for the same amount, possibly longer than Khan, yet has only two wins over named opponents.

you call porter a nobody but porter beat the guy that khan thinks him beating makes him top dog in the division :/ lol.

also i didn't say he has faced better opponents but theres many reasons why it has turned out this way. right now brook is on top if were talking bout recent opponents.

good for khan that he won a medal at 17. but from then it was set out for him. signed to golden boy, all he could do was fight big names. he had that platform. brook started off with nothing and had to graft and people tend to forget no big names wants to fight brook aswell due to the low reward, high risk thing.

Khan has defo had a better career, but mate i'm just saying it like it is.

Khan has better names on his resume yet still won't fight Brook.

    I apologise.

Working out three times a day seems excessive at this stage unless he is rehabilitating his legs.

Amir Khan is a serious embarrassment to this country. Giving Floyd a deadline, who does he think he is? Clearly ducking Brook. I hope someone ends his career in brutal fashion.
