He had a gambling problem but it was dealt already, the two biggest reasons for his temporary depature was his father's death and his lost of drive in the sport of basketball

Floyd also did not beat any woman from 2007>2009. He did not beat any woman in his life, for that matter. He twisted his ex's arm for literally 5 seconds. That does not constitute as "beating" someone.

She is also a money grabbing woman and everyone knows this. She wrote two books which bombed.:patsch

You really must love Floyd.. Assualt is Assualt more so when a trained fighter does it, Floyd should consider himself lucky he has not done real time. And anyone would try to get as much Moola from it, its what happens in todays day and age..

Mayweather has proved not to be very credible. While, it's plausible that Mayweather retired due to injuries there is just not enough evidence to support that; however, if we are going off of videos as evidence, you would also have to admit he ducked Margarito.

    Nope.

Margarito = cheated and Baldomir was far more proven than Margarito in 2005-2006. :hi:

He is also far more credible than someone like you. :tong

    I trust that man. :deal

His body injury was insanely damaging.

He did injure his rib when he returned for Marquez, but Floyd has said he retired to let his hands and knuckles heal, he also like MVC said, came back with focus on building a brand and running his own promotion company.

I'm not defending Floyd, nut hugging or anything but didn't him and his ex make up and forgive each other etc etc?

Floyd did his stretch paid his debt, and now even the victim has forgiven and moved on.

its a stain on Floyd's record that he's always going to have but I don't know why these things have to be brought up as if they just happened yesterday and the victim hasn't already put it behind them etc etc.....

assault isn't cool but the injuries weren't serious (were they the quick google search i did says she was treated at hospital for minor injuries) so no one was really that hurt.

Mannys PPV numbers have been getting smaller and smaller over the years. Many on these boards say he is more popular and fun to watch over Floyd but he never does bigger numbers than Floyd...why is that? It couldn't be networks because they have both been featured on HBO and Showtime yet Floyd still consistently does bigger numbers. Is the fight happening on May 2nd a result of Arum doing this for the fans or is he essentially cashing out on Pacquiao?

Seriously how many PPV's does Arum expect Pacquiao-Vargas to do? Is Bob finally throwing in the towel and hoping that a victory can revive Manny's career and drawing power? Is Bob ready to say goodbye Manny hello Terrance Crawford? After all a loss to Floyd pretty much means the end of Pac's career, doesn't it?

Can't wait till Floyd trash talks the **** out of Manny during the build up while Manny just laughs and smiles at him. Then during the weigh in face off Floyd stares him down and Manny tries to be serious but eventually cannot help but giggle like a little kid in the ridiculousness of it all.
