I really doubt Manny will want to end his career on a defeat, so no. What he said about the KO by Marquez, he was confused why people were telling him to retire. And he asked, "Why would I end my career with a loss?"

    I think he's 110% confident he'll win against Floyd.

This is probably the one fight where Manny won't laugh during the weigh in

op conveniently fails to mention floyd's own ppv numbers follow the same pattern of diminishing returns.

Totally agree! That statement not only goes for Cotto at 140(who Bob Arum deliberately kept Mayweather away from while promoting both) also Margarito(a fight Bob also did not want to do because Margo didn't have a big fanbase) and Mosley, who moved all the way up from 135 to 147 three years before Mayweather moved up from 130 to 135. And Paul Williams, as evident of his first fight against Carlos Quintana, his two fights against Sergio Martinez and Tech-decision win against Kermit Cintron, was very flawed for a tall fighter to have beaten Floyd. "Money" would've had him figured out after 3-rounds and then pick him apart stylistically piece by piece like he did against Zab Judah and Maidana1. Never mind for a minute that a Mayweather-Williams fight was never anywhere near the high radar level as a major fight that fans beyond the boxing community wanted to see like Leonard-Hearns.

Probably 80% of my desire to see this fight is just to see Floyd trash talk Manny and the face offs.

    I can hear it now,

"I fought opponents at their actual weight, you catchweight king. I'm PPV king, boxing king, p4p king, you aint nothing but a catchweight king. I'm going to show you who the real king is. All work is easy work."

    And then Manny

    "We'll see."

Mayweather trash talks his opponent the more he feels threatened or undermined.

Just look up the trash talk against ODLH, oh my gosh. Funniest thing ever.

"IMMA BEAT U AND MAKE U CALL ME PRETTY!"

    Or Guerrero . . .

FM: "You say it's gunna be easy?"

    G: "Yeah"

FM: "You right. Easy for you to get your a** stomped. STOMPED."

And of course Canelo at their press conference....

"You know... I sit back and think at night at what people say, "You know, Floyd. You're facing a tough opponent." And I say, "Yeah, but can you tell me 10 World Champions he's beat. Just 10. Then I say, you know what, I've been sitting on top of the throne for 17 years. Everytime they get a guy, they build him up. And you know what I do? Smack em' down. And it's funny to me that everyone says Canelo is such a big star, but he's never been on PPV unless he was on my undercard!! But he's such a big star. He's such a big star, Oscar. . Hah, you might as well call me the Golden boy cause I beat everyone on your whole crew. Im rich, I'm young, I'm fly... DAMN life is good!! See you September 14th."

I love Floyd. :rofl:rofl CANNOT WAIT for his trash talk against Pacquiao. It's going to be one to remember.

I know it's a bigger issue coz of his profession I'm just saying now after he's paid his debt and apparently even she doesn't care.

Why is it such a big issue anymore?

It's something he's always gonna carry for something that's been forgiven by the one person who should be most annoyed but people who have nothing to do with it can't seem to let it go.

If u beat the **** out of me. but apologised and I forgave u that should be the end of it.
That's how i would want it to be. I wouldn't want u to be constantly judged about it or get into any more trouble. not be able to travel or something because of it.

Floyd's trash talk sucks. It's not clever, original or funny. He'll talk about how rich and good he is, but that's it and it's all a very, very watered down attempt to copy Ali.
