i missed the cotto martinez fight last year in new york due to a job change last minute. had it planned and everything. not missing this one flying from cali to see my dude cotto before he hangs em up. plus PR parade would be nice to experience too.

GGG is fighting May 9th, so he'll probably go there to watch the fight.

I do think this fight can be so close and such a war they can possibly rematch and maybe a trilogy so GGG just gonna have to keep fighting and needs to get his hands on th IBF and WBO. Mora or Taylor might wanna cash out on that one. and Andy Lee will be down after his hometown fight.

Cotto knows he will never win a close fight in Vegas he's the one demanding NY. Remember Canelo- Lara no Mexicans judge allowed.

If Canelo won't fight in msg he's a little ****in *****, especially coming off his last robbery win. Who cares what the dec is, the fans know who won or lost.

According to El Nuevo Dia ( Newspaper from Puerto Rico ) Canelo told Oscar De La Hoya to find another oponent for his next fight . He is tired of waiting for Cotto and doesn't want the fight anymore. Oscar called Bob Arum with the news. El Nuevo Dia source was Bob Arum himself. Here is the link but is spanish:

I think this is Canelo trying to put more pressure on Cotto but we'll see.

    Boo-hoo
He is probably just unhappy that he has become second fiddle due to Floyd-Pac being everyone's priority.
He wants May 2nd, but, Floyd-Pac would obviously get priority if its made.
No decisions are going to be made until after Pac-Floyd gets settled.

And if Pac-Floyd does get made, its the best thing that can happen to Canelo. It would take away most of Cotto's leverage. He'd lose the May 2 date, but, I bet the fight gets made pretty quickly afterwards.

I don't blame Canelo for not wanting to wait around for ever and I don't blame Cotto (or his people) for wanting what might be a slightly more winnable fight in his first defence. If Cotto doesn't fight Canelo or GGG in the next fight after that though (or drop the belt if he still has it), I will be disappointed. Canelo vs Cotto is a really good fight so I hope it does happen some time this year.
