KO5 and Garth Wood went from relative nobody and on his way to being a millionaire.

Big upset. One of the biggest.

Did he fight an invisible opponent or should we fill in the blanks

If you followed boxing you wouldn't need the blanks filled in would you?

How many KO5s are there on Wood's record? I'll save you looking. Answer is one.

Big chance he will **** up his winnings. He's did little all before and since but still anybody would take that achievement which eluded even Danny Green and many others with far more ability.

A bloody great story a guy who only got in the comp because Shannon Taylor couldn't be in it. He then wins a $40,000 car (I think)and about $25,000(I think)and a $200,000 payday to fight Mundine at SMW. Then Mundine pioneers down in weights and Garth has to fight at MW so he gets an extra $100,000. AND WINS!!!!!!!!!! plus whatever he got for the rematch.
GO GARTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :happy:happy:happy He probably won't do much else in boxing but he is the only Aussie to KTFO Anthony Mundine.:good

Perhaps the biggest upset in Aussie boxing history and hard to ever remember a more popular win.

Wood sure fell on his feet after coming into that tournament as a late replacement and he did sure improved his bank balance when he humiliated Mundine.

I'll never forget the look on Fenech's face in the corner when Wood knocked Mundine rotten. It looked like he had won tattslotto. Perhaps in a way he had :hey
