I've heard from someone in the know that Joshua fcuked up his steroid cycle over winter and his team were worried about the tests.

price vs johnson would be ok, but u would have to pay johnson extra too not throw a single punch. he usually throws 2 or 3 a round

Most of these steroid rumours are *******s and are based on nothing.

Has Hearn pulled a fast one? Of this was a frank card he would be getting savaged on here for this...I heard April 4th was always going to be the date for the fight

That can be a bad injury to try and come back from. He will need a lot of work to recover from it. In an athlete it would limit movement even when the healing is over.

Hope Joshua recovers from this but he may need a couple of warm ups if and when he comes back before he faces Johnson.

Anyone think it could be over training? Alarm bells rang in the last fight when he had to do 12 rounds on pads as he knocked his guy out in first round so not got enough exercise

My understanding of a stress fracture to the lower back is that in athletes it is an overuse injury. Spondylolysis, if that is what Joshua has, is a pretty serious injury to come back from.

Perhaps his training regime has caused the problem or perhaps he has had underlying issues for sometime that are only now coming to light. Either way there is not a quick fix for a problem like this.

Spondylolysis is a condition that could arise from his injury. If he gets that he's truly ****ed. My dad has it. Its bony lumps growing on the spine and my dad has had to have 2 operations over the last 10 years to have it literally ground down. The lumps press against the disk and crush the nerves to the point you have a job to walk or even stand up straight.

The stupid thing is that they say they noticed this before the Sprott fight. I find it hard to believe that they would let it go on for this long rather than get it seeing to sharpish, let alone having a fight with it. There will be more to it I believe.
