I'm still doubtful that it happens unfortunately. Too much network negotiation to work out. That's why Lennox vs. Tyson took 5 years to make and things haven't gotten better between HBO and Showtime, let alone between the promoters at play here (Large Dan wrote an article referencing this just in the past day so I expect that hopefully some people will come around to that finally although I've been talking about that little-discussed yet massive aspect of the negotiations for the last two years now since Floyd left HBO). Plus the two fighters we are talking about here are both super divas when it comes to negotiating fights.

 

It's not that the fight is "meaningless". It's more that it is not significant in terms of proving who is/was better when it really counted.

I understand that point of view, but to me it hasnt lost much significance because they are still the two best fighters today.

 

When Floyd gets corner he tends to lay on the rope and that's when health come first and he will find out that health come first if he gets forced to fight PAC.
