Lol. Since dudes job is to cover boxing... And he's a fan, pretty sure he wants the fight to happen. As of late his biases are leaking out bad or his personal opinions... He has never made his pick public, but I think he picks floyd by dominant ud is the feeling I get.
He's making these comments because he has someone on the inside of negotiations, Rafael has been drip-feeding information every day, he is being kept in the loop.
You would see some VERY LOW numbers. Honestly, if Floyd fights ANYONE but Pacquiao he will damage his rep worse than he could ever imagine, and you would without a doubt see it affect his ppv numbers. Honestly, if Floyd doesn't take this fight, I cant support him. It's just to much, and as a huge Floyd fan I would have to walk away... Whats the point of being a fighter if you cant prove you're the best? Hell, whats the point if YOU DONT WANT TO PROVE YOURE THE BEST?!
To be clear, the OP doesn't state Rafael thinks Floyd-Cotto is next or even that he expects it, merely that it's very possible.
It looks like he wants attention, and if they do make the Pac fight everyone will just forget what he tweeted.
