I won't be buying either fight. I don't want to see Pac vs Vargas or Floyd vs anyone else.

Everybody saying Floyd needs to sign the contract already are dumb and just falling into all of the pre hype bullsh!t. The latest is that both Floyd and Pac have agreed on the terms. NEITHER has signed anything yet. Now that they've agreed to the terms the lawyers are drafting up the contract. Plus Showtime and HBO are still working on their terms.

Everything going on right now is just to keep you clowns doing what you're doing to hype this up. All this talking is promoting the fight for them.

This is an excerpt of his Interview on "TODAY". You can find it on Youtube.

I'm sorry, but this sounds waaaaay too much like promotion. I think what's left is them both physically signing the contract, but it is done. Pacquiao sucks at keeping things on the down low.

    seems like that's what happened.

moonves when he got involved asked for floyd/haymon demands/conditions, he gave it to arum and pac and they accepted them all.

Ehh, in some ways. It's really, really bad PR for him right now. Because now that Floyd and Pacquiao both have hyped this fight, if it does fail... Floyd will take the wrath of "he's scared" and "he only fights plodders" which in turn would make him more famous, but would KILL his next fights when it comes to PPV and interest.

I'm fairly certain the casual fans of boxing, who contribute A LOT into the PPV's of his fights, would be turned off completely. No one wants to watch these fighters fight anyone else but each other.

this is like when floyd called out winky.
winky accepted all of floyd's bs demand including the rehydration clause. when it was time to sign the fight, arum was told to change the purse split from 50-50 to 55-45.

floyd's team may again come back to change the 60-40 split they offered and ask for 65-35.

Then no one can deny Floyd's a *****. So no matter what happens, everyone wins. Either there's official confirmation of Floyd's cowardice or we see the fight. No ifs, ands, or buts about it this time; no excuses.

the problem with your comparison is that floyd has talked trash about pac for years.

Right, but I'm talking about now and about Arum. Floyd is expected to lack class. And lately, Floyd has been silent.

"I walked in, I told him: "I believe we have a deal,' " Shaw said. "And Bob said, "so it's a deal - 55-45 (money split)'.

"I said, "Bob, that was never, ever discussed, no deal' and that was that."

The day before, Shaw said he and Arum had agreed to a 50-50 purse split

While Shaw said he agreed with just about all of the demands from the Mayweather team he doesn't think the fighter, a former Olympian, was behind the breakdown.

"I think it's Arum," Shaw said. "When Floyd normally calls someone out, he's serious about fighting them."

sooo..is it not bob arum also who is capable of causing last minute problems? who is to say at the last minute he might ask for a 55-45 split giving manny the 45?
