Because I don't think a guy that had a majority of his KO's happen in tiny obscure venues against Class C and D opposition and when he did KO someone it was in the 11th or 12 round? Yeah I sure don't know anything about Boxing. I would argue someone who thinks a guy is a power puncher because of a silly nickname doesn't know **** about boxing :rofl:patsch

Roy is one of the most overrated guys out there, but he's had an alright career.. I wouldn't call the first half embarrassing, even if it's INCREDIBLY overrated. I am not the biggest Jones fan btw.

It isn't even about his 3 best KOs...

I saw him hit Michael Nunn with a savage punch at MW, and I watched him beat Holyfield until they threw in the towel, and I wacthed him hurt Rahman...

You have to have good power to carry it from MW to HW.

He will just say something delusional again, like argue factual outcomes of fights.

I think the best thing I have ever seen him say about Roy is that he had some skills.:rofl

I don't know whats worse, him thinking Toney couldn't deliver a "savage" punch, or thinking Roy was afraid to engage Toney when they fought?

Of course he does. He's a professional fighter.

But you also know that the conversation is relative.

In boxing a puncher at top level is guy with dynamite in one shot any time.

    Like tyson frazier lewis etc

Was toney a guy like that, no hes a guy that breaks you down and is one of personal favourite for his skill and willingness to fight inside.

But hes not the definition of a puncher as the term relates in boxing.

I wont say Toney was a one punch ko fighter but he definitely had the ability to break a fighter down and stop him. You mention Lyle and Frazier...both were the same as Toney overall. JT just happened to move up more weight classes. We've seen in in the Jirove fight, Barkley, Holyfield and other fights. Not a pure one punch ko fighter but the guy could bang and take the heart out of a fighter.
