ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME?!?!?! :pc

Taras Shelestyuk is once again on an ESPN2 undercard, once again with a co-featured bout getting canceled late, and once again winds up non-televised anyway.

WTF is getting Shelly on TV going to ultimately take? All the main event principals (and, everybody on the card in a contest scheduled for more than an eight-rounder) getting food poisoning? :blood

I had just assumed that with Lundy vs. Petrov off, Shelestyuk would co-headline.

50/50 tonight Monroe if he's got a good beard and can keep Vera at bay he UD's him, but Vera if he does what he does best and get to and upset the skilled boxer, he wins by stoppage, and for some reason Monroe seems chinny to me, so I'm going for (I hope he's not too shot:think) Vera

I think people read into Vera's recent stoppage loss too much. If I'm remembering correctly they use much smaller gloves than in traditional boxing matches.

Upsetters tend to spring them until the very end of their careers. The upsets usually come at lower levels of quality as they degrade themselves, but they continue to happen as they're continued to be perceived as vulnerable and past their best.
