    Even if they were full sized conventional gloves I wouldn't hold it against Vera much... He went 22 rounds with the small cruiserweight that is a rehydrated Chavez Jr.

    Rosado has a habit of stoppages over durable opponents that come at him. He also stopped Karass and no one doubts his durability.

    Vera's durability also looks maybe even more impressive now that Andy Lee's right hand has shown to be a truly elite level weapon.

    As much as he could with a .500 opponent, eh?

    I'm disappointed they set him that far back, honestly. He put up a good showing in Boxcino, there was no call to regress that much in level of competition.

    All true, but Chavez Jr. actually managed to outbox Vera in the rematch (and is nobody's idea of a "boxer") and Monroe Jr. actually seems to be the goods - of higher quality than what Vera can upset anymore.
