    Appreciate Vlads dominance at heavyweight.

    Floyds amazing skills.

    Manny's true greatness.

Roy Jones was practically unbeatable in his prime.

Prime Duran , Leonard, Hearns and Hagler would absolutely dominate from lightweight through to middleweight today.

Watch the undercards on big fight nights.

Hate PPV as it marginalizes the sport.

    Others??

I guess I'm a true fan then, because I agree with every point.

Appreciate boxers from every region on earth and not get caught up in nationalistic biases.

I'll add that hard-core fans would know stuff about the low weights and forgotten divisions.

Also, wake at all hours to watch boxing from the other side of the world.

And support TV channels like boxnation

    Example? Japanese fighters?

For me some of the most technically sound fighters i have seen very very disciplined.

To be a true boxing fan you have to like boxing. Period. The rest is pretentious nonsense and ego stroking.

true fan checking in by your standards atleast. i dont mind PPV that much but feel it should only be for megafights (thus encouraging fighters to earn those extra big ppv paydays)

You don't have to, but I think it's preferable.

Yes, I guess the thread title would be better as 'A true boxing fan would..' as opposed to have to.

I enjoy watching him too but I can understand ppl not enjoying his fights

Some boxing fans just like the rockem sockem robot type fights

The subjectiveness of the sport is what makes It great :deal

True boxing fans don't begin to boo after only a couple of rounds, during the feeling out process.
