no that is what is really happening here pac has agreed to all floyds terms floyd was taken back by this so he had to come up with a new creative way to duck the fight and he told espinoza to be difficult in making a deal with hbo

 

I find it utterly hilarious that pac fans are trying to pin showtime and Espinoza because they say showtime stands to make more on a floyd cotto fight for themselves than share with HBO .....when bob has been doing that for years with pac....and that's why bob wouldnt make a floyd/Oscar fight when fliyd was still with him

You know what makes your point invalid, what Floyd likes above all things is money.....he wants the fight that pays him the most! Showtime likewise want the fight that pays the most..after all they have to pay Floyd an enormous amount of money...it's HBO who are worried about losing their one and only ppv breadwinner, now you think about that for a moment before you reply.

 

Bob's been worried about losing his breadwinner for 5+ years now ....he loses pac and he doesn't have much left ....pac gets ud'd by floyd and no one really cares that much anymore

Even Freddy SaI'd he thought bob wanted floyd to be pack last fight......which spells put "milk this cow and cash out when we're ready to go".....pacs team has been been spelling that out subtly for years now

The networks are a real problem dummy and without their cooperation a fight can't be made no matter how much PBF and Pac want to.:deal Pac fights for HBO and PBF fights for Showtime it's not as if both are HBO or Showtime fighters. But as usual you say it's PBF trying to come up with a way to try and get out of the fight.

I've always said economically Floyd/SHO make more fighting someone like Cotto than paying the greedy Arum/Pac 40% and royalties. Pac will get paid 4-5X Cotto yet only bring in a little more in PPV. Actually SHO will get less PPV since the PPV split will favor HBO. If the fight does 2.5M PPV, HBO would realistically get 1.4M PPV and SHO 1.1M PPV. Cotto-Floyd does more than 1.1M PPV and SHO keeps the revenue all to itself and only has to pay Cotto 10-15M.

 

None of this talk matters. If Mayweather doesn't fight and.beat Pacquiao his record and legacy flawed.

 

I just been wondering this I don't know how true it is but Pacquiao's own adviser has said that even though Manny fights on HBO he's not technically signed to them.

If that is the case and the hold up is the networks that is some bs and a bit if a conjob from TR.

 

The whole thing is a conjob by Manny team and tr....they know the overall interest in both guys is dwindling....they are simply still obsessed with floyds name and using it to sell whereas floyd really don't give a **** about Bob and top ranks no sense

I admit ....tr is backing floyd into a corner where he really can't win unless he signs a deal that isnt perfect for him....and then whoops pac....

Bob and co. Have said in the past 3-4 months isn't enough to build this fight....now suddenly 3 months is enough to do press tours and market it and give both guys enough time to train? Cmon

 

It's been reported that HBO aided Top Rank in their monetary effort to re-sign Pacquiao a few years ago. There had to have been an understanding that they would be involved in these negotiations.
