Which do you have as the most coordinated fighters?

Doesn't mean they necessarily were/are textbook. Ali, Nunn and RJJ had terrific coordination while making plenty of technical errors. Hamed was probably one of the most coordinated fighters compared to his lack of technique.

Hopkins, on the other hand, is a well schooled fighter without great natural coordination, I'd say.

Napoles, Benitez, Toney, McCallum etc were examples of fighters with both great technique and natural coordination.

Your picks? (probably need to use a bit of a p4p basis not to just end up with wee guys)

Good shouts. Well, I haven't seen anything of Docusen, but the others, definitely. Canzoneri belongs here as well, doesn't he?

I get the idea that Sam Langford falls into this category.

Look at all the descriptions about him landing knockout punches, from improbable angles, and through gaps in peoples guards!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel he really has the smoothness of the true naturals. He's obviously fantastically well schooled, but he just has that tiny hint of jerkiness imo.

If we incorporate natural balance into this, (which I feel is reasonable), I'd actually rather name Pac, The way he can pivot, almost flow, between positions is not something you can be taught but rather just come from natural talent.

Floyd is the more technically skilled, though.

Jeffries was supposedly extremely nimble for a man his size.

I think Ray Leonard and Floyd Mayweather are great examples. They seem to be on balance a great majority of the time.

I agree, ray leonard was beautifully co-ordinated. So is manuel marquez in the modern era who's hands, eyes , feet and brain seen to communicate in a special way.
