Pacquaio will be the most dangerous opponent the guys been in with, why do you think he's been ducking him most of his career. Pac's speed and KO power will drag Mayweather out of his comfort zone that he hides behind to get the boring wins he's made a career out of.

It wouldn't suprise me if tr arum is saying one thingand then koncz says another....there was a point before pac reupped with tr that pacs lawyer said koncz wouldn't allow him to look at pacs contract

Those pac guys wil say anything because the Gen public doesn't follow close enough....all they see is an espn.com headline saying pac is ready and willing to sign the fight.....and that's the perception

Last time there was a split PPV - showtime was bent over a barrel - tyson owed them money BIGTIME so they agreed that delayed broadcasts would go to the winner even knowing that their man had little chance of pulling the win. This time - HBO know that gambling on the winner (especially at short odds) is stupid. HBO want all the ducks in a row beforehand as it just makes better business sense. The networks will be able to come to a deal if the fighters do. It is no secret that Manny wants (needs) the fight more than Floyd does. Floyd already has a good financial deal in place for the next two fights. It's only about legacy now for him and they don't call him Floyd 'legacy' Mayweather.

Cotto and roach think they can beat floyd with each other....it's a good fight....hey its no Algieri.....but hey......Floyd would a recycled Jmm but he took care of him easy work like he'd do with Bradley too....cotto at least didn't look like a fool

I want pac/ floyd as much as anyone.....it's just not that easy....and softer years or sum and co. Pretending and dragging fLoyds name and round to sell his own fighter......well pac and co should bend over if they really want it

I'm not saying they aren't complicated. I'm saying if Pac and Floyd have genuinely agreed to terms, it's in HBO and Showtime's best interests to make the fight and get it done.

If the fight doesn't happen - I don't think a breakdown between HBO and Showtime will be a likely cause. They have too much of a vested interest in making this, and they both have too much to lose if it doesn't happen - especially if it doesn't happen because the 2 networks couldn't come to an agreement. The damage they would each do to their long term success would be horrific.

As long as Pac-Floyd have really come to an agreement (or are en route to arriving at one) - HBO and Showtime will certainly follow suit.

Plenty of money for these rich corrupt basta'ds acorss the board.

With no Cotto-Canelo, it's that much more obvious there won't be Floyd-Manny. As I've said before: See ya in Vegas 5/2 for Floyd-Cotto 2.

A week ago there were high hopes for Manny-Floyd AND Cotto-Canelo. Today one is dead and the other might as well be. #boxing
